It has emerged that The Rolling Stones will make a long-awaited return to live performance this summer.

While speaking to Billboard, Guitarist Ronnie Wood said that “[they] had a meeting in New York with the boys and we’re gonna come [to] North America again in the summer.”

No dates or cities have yet been confirmed for the shows, which will be the band’s first since the death of saxophone player Bobby Keys (aged 70 following a severe battle with cirrhosis of the liver) and the suicide of Jagger’s partner L’Wren Scott in 2014.
