Caleborate drops new mixtape ‘Real Person’

Caleborate has become known for his groovy tunes and bouncy flow on his last project ‘1993’. But the rapper keeps it minimal letting the lyrics and delivery stand on its own on his new mixtape ‘Real Person’ released last week. With features from Donte Thomas, MVCK and, 1-O.A.K.

The mixtape consists of mellow beats and influences of old school hip hop with its laid back feel. Sampling from J.Cole and Kanye West, Caleborate makes room for him in the hip hop movement with his conversational style flow and emotional storytelling.

Despite its simplistic quality, the sweet melodies of ‘Real Person’ and its thought-provoking lyrics makes the album a pleasant and satisfying listen. Whilst also leaving you eager to hear more.

The track is now available on Spotify and Apple Music.
